A new size of Duplex® screws is on the way. The #8 x 1-5/8" Duplex® screw is a reusable, double-headed hex screw designed for temporary construction applications where easy installation, removal and reuse matter.
Designed for use with a 1/4" impact driver, Duplex® screws provide a practical alternative to traditional duplex nails and help reduce the physical effort associated with removal during teardown.
The updated design features a longer shank for stronger engagement in mating materials and a Type 17 point for faster starts and reduced splitting. High-visibility orange powder-coated heads add durability and make the screws easier to locate during removal and collection for reuse.
Packaged in a 25 lb resealable bucket for convenient jobsite storage. Each bucket includes a 1/4" impact-rated Duplex™ nut setter.
